More than 166 Billion Traded in Deficient US Small Cap Exchange Listed Securities in 2024

US Small Cap listed securities which were actively deficient by their respective exchange at the end of Q4 traded more than 166 Billion over the course of the year.  This number excludes the 40 delists (18% decrease in deficient securities Quarter over Quarter) in Q4.   Industry focus on the listed small cap space has resulted in increased scrutiny from compliance departments and a number of rule change proposals by the exchanges.

OTC Markets’ suite of compliance analytics products makes it simple to monitor small cap listed and OTC securities – and the movement of securities between the two regimes.  To learn more about our Small Cap Listed Compliance File and our other Market Data Compliance products reach out to our Market Data team.
